Department of Business Management started with the inception of IIU. It has made a mark in the region for its stimulating academic, co-curricular, industry linkage environment & unique course delivery. With the Basket of undergraduate courses (BBA & B.com), post graduate courses (MBA & M.com) Ph.d program in management, this department awakens the best in the students, refines it and guides them for bench marking to attain future success.

Uniqueness of the department lie in its industry linked MBA with paid stipend. The programme is mentored in association with leading industries. The stipend would be paid per year (for two semesters each) in the two year programme.

BCom Eligibility Criteria

Space below hosts the eligibility criteria for BCom course:

  • Candidate should have studied Commerce in Class 11 and 12 with some compulsory subjects including Accountancy, Business Studies, Maths/optional subject, and/ or Economics.
  • Candidates have to meet the minimum cutoff score as released by the university/ institute for admission.

BBA Eligibility Criteria

  • Aspirants who have completed their Class 12 in any stream from a recognised educational board or university can pursue BBA.
  • The candidates must have attained a minimum of 50% aggregate and above in Class 12.
  • In case a candidate has appeared for the Class 12 exam and is waiting for the result, s/he can also apply to the course.

MBA Eligibility Criteria

The prospective applicant must satisfy one of the following eligibility criteria for admissions to the MBA programme.

  • A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.
  • An honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act with at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages
  • Candidates who have passed Bachelor/ Master degree through correspondence / Open University System from this university or from any other university,recognized by law, are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree programme must be 3 + 2 years
