About Department of Pharmacy

Department of Pharmacy believes to be source of enlightenment in the field of pharmacy education. Started in 2020, the Department of pharmacy has vision to create benchmark in pharmacy education. The department will provide quality learning environment favorable to pursuit of professional competence, while providing service to the community and undertaking appropriate translation research for the enhancement of health.

D. Pharmacy (Allopathy)

Diploma in Pharmacy aims to provide the necessary knowledge to become a successful registered pharmacist. Diploma in Pharmacy is the minimum qualification required to practice or work as a pharmacist in India. The course consists of two academic years and practical training session.

Course Outcome

On course completion (academic program and practical training), successful candidates will get Diploma certificate from the Institute that helps his/her to become a registered pharmacist.

Eligibility For Admission

A pass in 10+2 examination (science academic stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics. OR Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to the above examination.

B. Pharmacy (Allopathy)

B Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a bachelor’s academic degree in the area of pharmacy. B Pharma course consists of the study of a variety of topics related to pharmaceutical science, including drug safety, discovery, medical chemistry, industrial pharmacy, and a variety of other topics. B Pharma degree is appropriate for students who wish to become pharmacists and want to understand how various medicinal medications affect the human body.

Course Outcomes

On completing the B Pharma course, students can work in the pharmaceutical business. On course completion (academic program and practical training), successful candidates will get Diploma certificate from the Institute that helps his/her to become a registered pharmacist.

Eligibility For Admission

First Year B Pharma

Candidate shall have to passed 10+2 examination conducted by respective state/central Govt authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities with English as one of the main subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (P.C.M.) and or Biology (P.C.B./P.C.M.B.) as the optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as Equivalent to any of above examinations.

B Pharma Lateral Entry (to third Semester)

A pass in D Pharmacy course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act.
